Something beyond our cassettes, floppy disks and visualizers, priced like the closest standard piece. We agree on timing first, and not every idea can be made.
Example: a Wide Visualizer and two cassettes for one room = the three pieces at shop price + 3 × $25 design fee.

We read every request and tell you honestly whether we can make it, and by when. No payment yet.

Reserve with a deposit
Once we confirm, a $10 deposit per piece starts the design.

Design together
We share the design, you tell us what to change, and we settle it together.

Made by hand
You pay the rest, minus your deposit. Each piece is made in 7–10 days, then shipped with tracking.
The $10 deposit
$10 per piece, paid only after we confirm your project. It comes off your final order, so you never pay it twice. If you decide not to go ahead, it isn't refunded: it covers the design time already spent on your idea.
Timing
Tell us your date when you write. Custom work fits around the workshop's schedule, so some dates aren't possible. We always tell you before you pay anything.

What does the design fee cover?
Designing your piece from your idea: artwork, colors, words and lighting, with a design preview for you to approve before anything is made.
Is the deposit refundable?
It comes off your final order, so you never pay it twice. If you decide not to order, it isn't refunded, because it covers the design time already spent on your idea.
Does the shop offer apply?
Yes. The pieces are charged at their shop price, including the current 25% off. The design fee and the deposit stay as listed.
How long does it take?
Design time depends on the idea and the workshop's schedule, and we agree on it with you before you pay anything. Once you approve the design, each piece is made in 7–10 days and shipped with tracking.
Can you make something that isn't a cassette, floppy disk or visualizer?
Often, yes. That's One of a Kind: a $150 design fee plus the price of the closest standard piece. Tell us your idea and we'll tell you honestly whether it can be made.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide, always with tracking. US orders arrive duties paid; elsewhere, any import duties are paid on delivery.
